I’ve visited a few art galleries in the past year. This is our Victorian art gallery and museum here in Wednesbury. I’ve also visited Bilston Craft Gallery where I was impressed with an exhibition there. I was less impressed when I went to West Bromwich and went in the ‘Public’ with it’s pink neon lights. (more…)
I went to Bilston Craft gallery this week. It’s not so much a craft gallery as a library and art gallery. The pieces exhibited in the photograph are by Jane Wilson from Shrewsbury and is called ‘Hitting the right notes’. Local councils spend money trying to attract tourism to the Black Country and don’t see the attractions that we already have or to be more accurate don’t appreciate. Regular readers will recognise the pool in the photo as the ‘Milky Pool’. I took this photo yesterday afternoon, when the weather changed to unusually warm and sunny for February. (more…)

They provide a useful link to local news and sites of local interest. I managed to post a blog every day this week too; I forgot to click publish last Friday! I also had my hospital appointment.
