The Year of the Ox!
The Year of the Ox
1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009
People born in the Year of the Ox are patient, speak little, and inspire confidence in others. They tend, however, to be eccentric; but make very good friends. They are suited to all kinds of pursuits from the technical to the creative. They are easy going but quite stubborn. They speak little but when they do speak they are eloquent and speak after giving the subject a lot of thought. The Ox may be stubborn but can always be relied on to carry a heavy burden.
That’s me; I was born in the Chinese Year of the Ox! I did my Western horoscope so now I’ll look at my Chinese one. I’m going through a transitional phase that leads to good fortune. If you are an Ox like me this stuff could apply to you; if you’re also an Aquarian then you are spookily like me! 🙂
The new transition began with the New Moon the other day; and is a pathway to greater things. Onwards and upwards! This phase began in February with the Chinese New Year and so things will start to hot up soon. The next moon will signal the beginning of the next phase in my life; I’ll be glad when that starts. This phase is ok, I get to be creative but the next one signifies more material gain; like money! 🙂
That auspicious time lasts through May, June and July and then I enter another phase that will again be creative, adventurous and I think I get to spend some of that money! The second phase of the Chinese New Year will begin in a few weeks and there will be challenges of an intellectual nature but these sort of subside in the summer. I’ll eat lots of chicken and maybe have some turkey at Easter; the tryptophan may give me a brain boost…
If you’re feeling depressed at Easter after a long winter; eat some chocolate, the tryptophan will give you a brain boost and help to inhibit serotonin re-uptake just like antidepressants do. It tastes nicer than an antidepressant too! 🙂
I saw some organic, milk free, environmentally friendly chocolate online yesterday. It was £8.99 for 50 grams; I can get a few kilograms of turkey for that. I might have a turkey dinner with chips at Easter; I can if I want to, I’m eccentric, but I make a good friend – except to turkeys. 🙂
If you are a fellow Ox and possibly an Aquarian too; do leave a comment. You could tell me what the year has been like so far; mine has been very creative. I’ve written guest blogs, done a load of blogs on here; done a little on websites and a lot of things pertaining to social media and social networking like playing Farmville! 🙂
My Neodigital Art is getting more popular too… 🙂
