Fairyland

Walsall 025

Yes, we are in Fairyland this week in the English woodland. Taking this photograph wasn’t easy because the light wasn’t very good and most of the picture is green! Even the water under that bridge is green, it was covered with algae.

I have never seen anything like this before and knew it would make a good picture but I was worried about the colour, it’s virtually all green; but quite fascinating. It really does look like somewhere the fairies would live!

Where the fairies sit…

Walsall 029

It is possible to create an illusion with words and photographs and this shot of a rustic bench completes the illusion of a place where fairies live. You could definitely use these photographs in a children’s book about fairies! It’s not really my genre though!

Sky

I have cropped this photograph a lot to get a panoramic effect. I didn’t go far for this shot; I was in the garden! The silhouette of the houses against the sky looks interesting and even the television aerial adds to the interest. I would like a shot like this with a church in the foreground and the light shining through the steeple.

I hope you liked this blog and you might like the thrifty and frugal blogs, they might help you save a little money. You might want to make your first million! Yes, I wrote a blog about that! Warren Buffett has made his money and pays millions in taxes and like a patriot thinks the super-rich should pay more. You might like to read, I agree with Warren Buffett… and there is last week’s Neodigital Art blog  which had some nice pictures.

  1. Well, I should have been asleep in bed right now, but I couldn’t wait to see your NeoDigital art post and this was certainly worth staying awake for. Now I will have sweet dreams of fairies!

These pictures are simply magical. They will probably inspire some children’s author to write a wonderful story that gets turned into a screenplay. Really well done. The green water added to the mystical quality of the pictures.

Thank so very much for sharing your artistry with us! 🙂

  2. I like these pictures and i hope to go back there when the light is better. It was a long walk for me to that spot, so I’ll go when I’m feeling energetic! 🙂
