This site is English – get used to it…

This weeks blogging review

The snow has kept on coming this week and at the time of writing, I’m expecting more. We do expect the weather to improve over the weekend though. I noticed a patch on my roof where the snow is melting, it’s over the hatch to the loft which isn’t insulated. Heat’s escaping! Have you looked at your roof?

The economy continues to get worse and now they’re blaming the snow…  It makes a change from blaming the Chinese. I watched a couple of programs about the industrial revolution and inventions on television. It seems the government is planning to invest in science now. We shall see, small business is still starved of investment while big business gets cheap funding from the bank of England.

How would you fix the economy? was Friday’s blog and used an analogy of a small village. George Osborne should read that.

Thrifty Thursday – more winter savings was Thursday’s popular blog. I must go and do my shopping, before I start running out of things. I’ll stock on on stuff, I haven’t shopped for nearly 2 weeks.

How to start a blog was Wednesday’s post. Blogging is for people who can write. There are millions of bloggers and many people give up after writing just a few. Write for your readers as well as yourself and enjoy it or there  is no point. You can also make money!

Taking and editing snow pictures was Tuesday’s blog about using Windows Live Photo Gallery to edit your photos.

Blue Monday was the most depressing day of the year. Now we have that out of the way, we can look forward to Spring; only 54 days to go now…

beef burgers and snow was my Sunday ramble at the end of the week.

I got another award for blogging this week. The Inspiring Blog Award. I now have to nominate 7 other blogs, I have some ideas. I’ll write more about that in a future blog. That’s thanks to Carolyn over at the Wonder of Tech whose blog had it’s second birthday.

I’ll be back tomorrow with another Sunday ramble, if I survive the snow. In the meantime, please share your thoughts in the comment box.
