The Review: Gareth Gates does Wednesbury

I went to the big switch-on of Wednesbury’s Christmas Lights yesterday with Gareth Gates doing the big switch-on. I froze last year and so I was well protected from the weather this time.

Thrifty Thursday: Black Friday was my usually thrifty post on Thursday. There were a few bargains to be had there.

Blogging: Meeting your readers was Wednesday’s post. I didn’t exactly meet my readers yesterday, but I did photograph them. It is more difficult than you might think at a crowded event. It was like being at a rock concert last night.

 Photography: more night shots was Tuesday’s post about taking photos at night.

The Sunday Ramble: Easy street? was my usual Sunday ramble through the lesser known pathways of my mind. I’ll be writing one of those again tomorrow, which should be interesting. I have a few jokes in mind…

We even had some fireworks last night too.  We don’t get much excitement in Wednesbury and so an appearance by a Pop Idol celebrity brought out the crowds.  If you go over to A Zillion Ideas, you can see more photos from last night in another blog post…  I can’t tell you the title, I haven’t written it yet! I started writing today’s post before the photos had even finished  resizing!
