I went to Wednesbury carnival and to Darlaston’s Party In the Park yesterday and took lots of photographs. The Black Country Festival continues with Black Country Day tomorrow. It’s all good fun and it will hopefully bring the people and towns in the Black Country together more. (more…)

The Review: first day of summer

It’s the first day of summer here in the UK and we can now enjoy three months of mowing the lawn, washing the car and trying to get a bit of a tan. People will be getting their summer clothes out; the shorts and the tee shirts. There will be some sights out there to photograph in the coming weeks! (more…)

It’s Black Country Day on Monday, the 14th of July. Now these events don’t always get the publicity they need before the event. We only learn about them afterwards. We have a great history in the Black Country and strange traditions.
