The settings on modern cameras are great, just set it on landscape for landscape photos and the camera does the rest. You can get technical and set the aperture, shutter speed and ISO yourself for better photos. The important thing is to point the camera at something interesting and try to keep it still.
Today’s picture was taken at Forge Mill Farm in Sandwell Valley and I’ve edited it with PhotoScape taking out some cars in the background and I changed the colours to look like sepia.
I’ve started today with a photo of Forge Mill Farm, I went there on Easter Sunday. It was cold! There is still some snow about and so I had to wrap up warm and try to cope with the poor light.
I’ve been blogging on WordPress for over 2 years now. Many people blog about their lives, some bloggers have a genre. I write about anything and everything. I took a lot of photographs over the weekend. It was sunny on Saturday and the light was good; not so good yesterday, but I got some good pictures.
I took this one on Saturday and you can see the Autumn colours and the shadows make it more interesting too. This was just public open space by the river. (more…)
