Will this sunshine last all day?

It’s Sunday and so my thoughts today are with photography. I can see a blue sky and sunshine! I have to do some shopping though, I’m running out of food and essentials. I have a busy week planned too, so it would help if I could get the shopping out of the way. I tried yesterday but there was a queue of cars not only trying to get into the supermarket car park, but trying to get out too. (more…)

It’s hard to know what’s right or wrong these days. On this day in 1939, Germany invaded Poland. That was wrong. Right? Was it right that we should intervene and declare war on Germany? How many lives did that cost?

The mid-week moan, again

It would seem that Britain is more divided than ever today. It will be interesting to see whose side everyone is really on when it comes to the crunch. The elitists are having a funeral for their heroine. She saved Britain; gave us Google, Iphones, Windows 7, Tesco value beef-burgers and Wonga.
