Christmas Day in the Black Country
This Christmas Day post will be syndicated to my local readers later and a link will go on Twitter for all my followers on there; Facebook will also get a instant link. That is the power of the Internet at Christmas. There is no need to send a letter to Santa these days, you can email the guy. You might remember that I wrote and published a Christmas Story last year. You can click that link and read it today! I am writing a sequel, but it’s still not finished. It took me weeks to think of an ending, that is always the hardest part. (more…)
Neodigital Art | Creative editing
I’ve been doing more creative editing this week with PhotoScape. I like combining words and pictures and doing unusual things. Here I’ve combined my photo of this bridge with a perforated ‘stamp’ border and added a word to describe the image. It’s different!
Greed or sustainability?
What’s your goal for 2013? To get more or just to hang on to what your have? Many people just want to hang on to what they have. Reading through the statistics for my blogs, I find the saving money blogs are the most popular.
Merry Christmas 2012
It’s Christmas Day and I’m still writing. The weather isn’t very seasonal, it’s still raining. I think 2012 will be known as the year the rains came. I have a busy day ahead, turkey to cook and a buffet for guests to prepare. I hope you have found my blogs interesting through this year. I haven’t finished yet!
Another week closer to Christmas
I took this photo in May, doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun? At the time of writing I can see blue sky and sunshine, we didn’t see much of that through the summer and now Autumn is flying by. It will soon be Christmas and we have to prepare, save up for some stamps to post our Christmas cards!

Christmas Eve Ramble
Merry Christmas
I don’t care, I’ll say Merry Christmas if I want to; Happy Holidays doesn’t sound quite right! I’m not too fussy about tradition, but will have turkey and roast pork for Christmas lunch tomorrow. It’s been an interesting year so far, I was nominated for writing awards and got that one last week for writing and photography. My Dark Globe Artist Diversity Award can be found here. I also was a finalist in the photographic competition at the hospital and got a certificate from the mayor. I might get involved with the latest project too, which is about the history of the hospital. (more…)
