Will this sunshine last all day?
It’s Sunday and so my thoughts today are with photography. I can see a blue sky and sunshine! I have to do some shopping though, I’m running out of food and essentials. I have a busy week planned too, so it would help if I could get the shopping out of the way. I tried yesterday but there was a queue of cars not only trying to get into the supermarket car park, but trying to get out too. (more…)
Kidding themselves
I watched a video this week of young children going up to smokers in the street and asking them for a light. The smokers responded by giving them a lecture on the dangers and health risks associated with smoking. The children then gave them a leaflet that asked them why, if they cared about the child, they didn’t care about themselves. (more…)
Should there be a maximum wage?
I saw a video the other day of the CEO of a health service trust who dressed up as superman to do some exercise with his staff. He looked like he needed the exercise, but also looked really stupid. It hardly inspires people with confidence and he earns £175,000 a year!
Nightmares or just dreams?
I’ve used a photograph from the summer to start today’s post. We did have one or two sunny days, in between the rain. I went to Matalan this week and bought an umbrella amongst other things. You will notice that it hasn’t rained since. It’s cold but sunny today, I must remember never to buy sunglasses from Matalan…
