Photography: landscape photography

I took this photo in 2012 with my Fujfilm S5600, since then I’ve moved on to a Nikon DSLR and have more experience. I think my style of photography has also changed. The scenes change too and the weather changes with the changing seasons. You don’t need an expensive camera to take good shots or to experiment.

RAINBOW

They say to take a good photo, you just have to be standing in front of something good. After a whole afternoon out taking photos, this was what I saw out of the window when I got home. It was raining, but the sun had come out. (more…)


Photography | Up close, in macro mode

When the weather is bad, you can always stay in and take macro pictures of your food. The Nikon D3200 has some in camera editing effects and so for this shot I tried soft focus. It’s perhaps more suitable for portraits, but doesn’t it make the chips look nice! If you want shots for photo libraries, these type of shots tend to be in demand.

It is Monday, it must be psychology

I’ve been fascinated by psychology for many years and that’s the subject of my usual Monday blog post. I’ve been posting on WordPress and on A Zillion Ideas too; but that seems to be a waste. My WordPress blog has more subscribers though, so what can I do? I’ve decided to change it!
