Will this sunshine last all day?

It’s Sunday and so my thoughts today are with photography. I can see a blue sky and sunshine! I have to do some shopping though, I’m running out of food and essentials. I have a busy week planned too, so it would help if I could get the shopping out of the way. I tried yesterday but there was a queue of cars not only trying to get into the supermarket car park, but trying to get out too. (more…)


Right or wrong?

It’s hard to know what’s right or wrong these days. On this day in 1939, Germany invaded Poland. That was wrong. Right? Was it right that we should intervene and declare war on Germany? How many lives did that cost?

Finance Friday | The economic fiasco

Rents for social housing have gone up over the years in the UK and have been subsidised first with rent rebates and then that was changed to housing benefit. They went so high that workers couldn’t afford them.
