In the movies you get that guy who lives in the big house all alone and looks a bit weird. I think that’s me! I have a house guest at the moment. My brother joked that I could be the axe murderer. In England we are well into Autumn now and some trees have lost all their leaves. The colours are changing and getting lighter, but the days are cloudier and darker. In this picture you can see the water is the same colour as the sky, but with golden reflections of the trees. (more…)
The Aldi super-six this week are Royal Gala apples, conference pears, cocktail vine tomatoes (250g), sweet pointed peppers (2), large flat mushrooms (250g) and persimmon (3). They are all 69p each. I’ve tried persimmon, they’re nice… (more…)
It is the third Monday in January and so called ‘Blue Monday’; the most depressing day of the year. The bills are coming in, we are using a small fortune in gas and electricity to keep warm and the weather is awful. Can it get worse? Probably not… Many of us are suffering from the usual winter bugs too.
